Consultation Cohort
for Psychedelic Integration
Designed for multi-disciplinary clinicians who aid clients post-psychedelic experiences and desire to deepen their skills in grounded, ethical, and clinically useful integration.
With a new presidential executive order that advances research on and access to psychedelic treatments for serious mental illnesses, opportunities such as immersive psychedelic experiences may become more widespread. However, without proper holding leading into, through and out of these immersive states, we run the risk of doing more harm than good.
That’s why I wrote this recently published article in the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists Magazine, Tending the Light.
Supporting ethical discernment, clinical depth, and sustainable practice
A small, high-touch professional cohort for health, wellness, and clinical practitioners seeking deeper understanding and support around psychedelic integration, with a focus on ethical discernment, preparation, integration, scope, and real-world case consultation.

As psychedelic-assisted work continues to evolve, more health, wellness, and clinical practitioners are encountering questions about how to thoughtfully support clients before and after psychedelic experiences – within psychotherapy, end-of-life care, somatic work, and other healing contexts.
This six-month Integration Consultation Cohort offers a grounded, ethically rigorous, and clinically useful space for practitioners who want to deepen their understanding of preparation, integration, scope, transference, ethics, and real-world case discernment.
Through live consultation, case exploration, and reflective dialogue, participants will develop greater confidence in supporting psychedelic integration within their own discipline while strengthening the discernment, relational awareness, and practical frameworks needed to navigate this evolving area of care.

This cohort is designed for health, wellness, and clinical professionals who are curious about psychedelic integration and its place within their work, including those who:
- may hold certification as psychedelic-assisted facilitators or are interested in becoming certified
- support clients returning from psychedelic experiences and want greater confidence in helping them integrate what emerged
- refer clients to psychedelic-assisted practitioners and support their ongoing care
- want stronger frameworks for navigating scope, boundaries, ethical complexity, and case discernment

Core Modules
Month 1: Orientation, Role Clarity, and Scope
Clarifying roles, responsibilities, boundaries, and the questions participants are bringing into the work.
Month 2: Assessment, Readiness, and Preparation
Exploring client appropriateness, screening, preparation, and referral discernment.
Month 3: Transference, Countertransference, and the Therapist’s Seat
Examining what gets stirred in the room, including projection, therapist reactivity, and personal care.
Month 4: Integration as Clinical Practice
Deepening frameworks for supporting meaning-making, pacing, and lasting change beyond the journey itself.
Month 5: Complex Cases, Ethics, and Consultation
Working with complexity, rupture, ethical gray areas, and real-world clinical discernment.
Month 6: Integration, Professional Identity, and Next Steps
Refining a sustainable and ethical stance in this work and clarifying the path forward.
From here, you’ll gain greater clarity in how psychedelic integration fits within your existing discipline, stronger tools for ethical discernment, and deeper support for navigating the complexity of this evolving work. Held within a thoughtful, multidisciplinary community of peers, this cohort is designed to strengthen your capacity to support clients in ways that are grounded, reflective, sustainable, and rooted in integrity.
